Mr. Gripples and I were talking today, and he said he can still recite the whole first verse of this song (prooooove iiiiit). I remember this cassette being my pre-soccer “get pumped” music back in the day, and this was one of my fav’s.
There’s some unflattering pics of Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly that recently surfaced over at Concrete Loop. As a bald man of almost 7 years, I want to donate a Head Blade to him. I understand it’s not his fault, but you’ve got to wear a hat or shave those loose hairs, man. Going out like that (and with pants still backwards) “is something you should never, ever, ever do again”
Ok. In order to back up my claim I am going to type all the words I can remember. I swear I haven’t listened to this song in at least 4-5 years so I’m not even 100% sure its the first verse. I’ll write it, listen to the video, and see how I did. I promise I’m being legit.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this proud of myself. I was a little disappointed when I realized it was THE SECOND VERSE instead of the first, but I’m smiling from ear to ear right now. That song might be the greatest throwback of all time. Jump was a tight song, but the real Kriss Kross fans know that “I Missed The Bus” was the real jam.
Romer, I swear on my life that was recited before I watched the video. And 4-5 years might be wrong, I’m guessing 7-8.
