Wu Tang Killer Bees

So, Marc, Pitt and Berg all got phone calls from me out on the roof today, losing a staring contest with two pissed off, squirrel-sized bee’s.

I hate bee’s to begin with (I can step on spiders, can’t outrun bees), but these two in particular were lookin’ at me sideways.

I’m not even exaggerating – it felt like these bees were giving me “the look”. You know, the one Bernie Mac describes in Kings of Comedy… the “lookin at me like you wanna do somethin'” look. Just hovering outside my window, daring me to come towards them, almost insulting my existence.

Come to find out, they were carpenter bees that don’t do much harm, but they “are territorial and will harass other bees and people who venture near their protected areas” (aka hover around, annoy the sh** out of you and stare aggresively). I found a good article about these fargin’ bastages here.

I got mind control over those bee’s though. Sure, when they’re around, I swat and prance around like an 8-year-old, but when I’m safely inside with the window shut….. I be actin’ normal again.
