“Liquid Dance”: Slumdog Millionaire Soundtrack

I just got back from seeing Slumdog Millionaire (while Steve watches from the comfort of his own living room). I am officially jumping on this  bandwagon I’ve been seeing build on the Twittersphere and the Interwebs.

Go see this movie. I knew nothing going into it, except there was a lot of buzz, and Guy Kawasaki loved it.  Incredible story, acting, imagery, and an addictive soundtrack. The composer, A.R. Rahman wanted a “pulsey score”, and it’s definitely that. He planned it over 2 months, and completed it in a couple weeks. One of my favorite tracks is “Liquid Dance”.  The first few seconds set crazy tension and excitement, and whatever they’re saying superfast is stuck in my head (“da-daka-ta-da-daka-da-da-daka-ta-daka”)

Listen to “Liquid Dance” by A. R. Rahman featuring Palakkad Sriram, Madhumithaon on Imeem.

Thanks to your review Lindsay decided to give the movie a chance. We both loved it.

Unfortunately the movie was interrupted after about 45 minutes by some “couch magic.”

    Not mad.
